2014 Hyundai Equus gets refreshed for the New York auto show
The refreshed 2014 Hyundai Equus debuted at the New York auto show on Wednesday. The flagship gets upgrades in almost every area, including the interior, exterior, chassis and technology. From the outside, we can see new 19-inch turbine-style wheels with a polished silver finish. The front grille bars are thinner, with sharper contrasts to the blacked-out portions. The front fascia now has lower air-inlet openings, while the headlights now offer a jeweled design. LED fog lamps are now standard. Inside, Hyundai redesigned the instrument panel and center stack, with new button iconography for easier feature recognition. The steering wheel has also been refreshed with new buttons and icons. Rear passengers get a new console layout, which works with the available 9.2-inch seatback video screens. Passengers can even find a restaurant and send it to the drivers navigation system.
