1. Turn the headlight dial on the dash to 0. This ensures that the power to the headlight assembly is turned off. Shut down the X5s engine; pull the hood release lever and open the hood. 2. Look at the back panel of the headlight assembly to find the turn signal. The turn signal is the outermost bub in the assembly. Its right on the edge of the interior fender liner on either side of the X5. Youll see a plastic cap. 3. Rotate the plastic cap to the left to remove it. Now youll see the turn signal bulb. 4. Turn the bulb holder to the left to disconnect it. The bulb is now free from the assembly. Pull the connection to unplug the wiring from the bulb holder. 5. Attach the replacement bulbs holder to the wiring. It simply plugs in. Place the new bulb into the assembly and turn it to the right. Attach the plastic cap and rotate it to the right to recover the bulb holder.

ollowing the release of the MINI Clubman Soho edition last year, the British automaker decided to name all of its special edition models after London boroughs, districts, streets and landmarks. As a result, the Soho nameplate has now been applied to the three-door hatchback and soft-top convertible model, both of which will be available in the United Kingdom in Cooper and Cooper D models from now until March 2012. The Soho editions sport an exclusive ‘White Silver’ metallic paint, which is not available on any other current MINI Hatch or Convertible model, as well as 17-inch Black Star Bullet alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights with black interior reflectors and white indicators. As for the interior, the two MINI Soho models gain Anthracite headlining, a 3-Spoke sport leather steering wheel and ‘Piano Black’ interior surfaces.

The 2011 Infiniti FX has just received that rare gift of a price cut, with $2,600 coming off the FX50′s MSRP and $1,250 in savings for the FX35. Looking at Infiniti’s numbers for 2010, the division has been outperforming 2009 by anywhere from 10 to nearly 50 percent since February 2010, but the picture comes into focus when you separate the FX from the herd. Despite good divisional performance, the swoopy FX is off 12.4 percent calendar year to date, according to the Nissan North America sales report for August 2010. It’s not like 2009 was a banner year, of course, so to help spur FX sales, Infiniti has lowered the base MSRPs on its FX models to $41,600 for the rear-wheel-drive FX35, $43,050 for the FX35 with all-wheel drive and $56,400 for the V8-powered FX50. The refreshed 2014 Hyundai Equus debuted at the New York auto show on Wednesday. The flagship gets upgrades in almost every area, including the interior, exterior, chassis and technology. From the outside, we can see new 19-inch turbine-style wheels with a polished silver finish. The front grille bars are thinner, with sharper contrasts to the blacked-out portions. The front fascia now has lower air-inlet openings, while the headlights now offer a jeweled design. LED fog lamps are now standard. Inside, Hyundai redesigned the instrument panel and center stack, with new button iconography for easier feature recognition. The steering wheel has also been refreshed with new buttons and icons. Rear passengers get a new console layout, which works with the available 9.2-inch seatback video screens. Passengers can even find a restaurant and send it to the drivers navigation system. We’d heard rumors that a diesel-powered version of the Chevrolet Cruze was being readied for the U.S., but now it’s official as General Motors announced today that the diesel variant will be added to the compact model’s North American lineup in calendar year 2013. However, that’s about all we get from GM as the Detroit company stated that it will release further details on the car at a later date. Currently, the most fuel efficient model in the Cruze range is the Eco model featuring a standard six-speed manual gearbox with an EPA-rated 42 mpg (equal to 5.6lt/100km) on the highway. Chevrolet already offers the Cruze with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine in other regions including Europe and Australia.
